		<description>the whole weighing a review based on the publication and the weight it has in the industry makes sense to me, but the part about some critics &quot;writing better, more detailed, more articulate articles&quot; doesn&#039;t.  though i guess peter travers calling everything &quot;explosive&quot; isn&#039;t exactly enlightening.

the saddest part is that ebert and corliss (and maybe even travers.  who knows?) are actually smart guys who aren&#039;t allowed to be smart. 

there&#039;s a lot to talk about here, and i&#039;m sure we will in the future, but overall, i would agree with your first two sentences.
