The First Motion Picture Unit was a collabo between LtCol. Jack Warner, of Warner Brothers, and the U.S. Army. Those who were able avoided the draft by making propagandist films for the govt. Not surprisingly, Ronald Reagan was in a bunch of them. More surprising is that Dr. Seuss was all over the FMPT, even producing an Academy Award winning documentary Design for Death.
